Serial molester, TVF CEO Arunabh Kumar gets conditional bail in Mumbai

Mumbai: Serial molester and CEO of digital entertainment channel TVF (The Viral Fever) Arunabh Kumar was on Monday granted an anticipatory bail by the Dindoshi sessions court in the capital city of Maharashtra.

Kumar, the creator of fictional web series like ‘Permanent Roommates’ and ‘Pitchers’, has been accused of sexually harassing at least two women, one of whom is a former TVF employee.

One of the complainants alleged that Kumar touched her inappropriately during a meeting. An FIR in this regard was lodged at MIDC police station in Mmbai’s Andheri East on March 29 last. He was called as many as eight times for interrogation before getting the bail.

Prior to this, an anonymous woman had written in a blog post that Kumar used to molest her. It may also be recalled that earlier this month, Kumar got bail in another molestation case filed against him at Versora police station in Andheri.
